Sharon showed up at the hospital to ask Phyllis about the secret Phyllis might know about her that could potentially hurt Nick, but Phyllis told her she couldn’t remember. Sharon continued to worry about her secret, but Nick reassured Sharon nothing would break them up, and they decided to get married on Halloween. Sharon hired a psychic to try and reassure her everything would be okay, but the psychic told Sharon she wouldn’t be getting married. Sharon considered cancelling the wedding, but Nick wouldn’t let her. Sharon told Nicholas Newman she’d be out of town and wanted to let him know in case he needed her. Nick insisted he wouldn’t need to contact Sharon and mockingly wished her a safe trip.

After being arrested for larceny a second time, Sharon checks herself into Fairview sanitarium when her kleptomania becomes uncontrollable. She gives birth to a baby girl, Faith, who is stolen by Adam Newman (Nick’s brother) and given to Jack’s sister Ashley after he caused her miscarriage and hysterical pregnancy.
Although Sharon and Adam tried to give it a go again and even slept together once he got his memory back, she decided to marry Rey Rosales. Adam also ended up back with his ex-wife, Chelsea Lawson , despite him watching from the corners as Sharon took her vows with Rey .
