Plot
It tells the story of three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish style villa that they think will solve all their problems.. I was I was surprised to see the show rated as low as it is, but it made more sense after seeing a lot of the reviews explain how they didn't get past the first episode. The show is a slow burn mystery romp that may not be for everyone. I personally found it to be to funny and entertaining with a tone particular to Liz Feldman that I enjoy. I really love the cast, and everyone's performance. I wasn't sold on Ray Romano at first because of my own biases (a lifetime of not being able to separate him from Every Loves Raymond) but that went away pretty quickly. All of the various characters have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos which is gradually, although not fully, unraveled. By the last episode I was pretty invested in the story, despite working out the major twist very early on. I'm not mad at that though. I'd love to see more of this show and really hope they get a second season.. No need to waste time endlessly scrolling — here's the entire lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
